Thank you.

People back in the thirty's did hate her. They saw her as someone with low morels , a party girl on the make taking a man who they adored away from them.

He was adored, Edward was considered one of the handsome men in the UK . he could have had any woman in the UK and often did. perhaps we should today call Edward the slut instead.

However years later after they were both dead it came to light that she tried many times to break it off. Once running to the South of France and he came after her and threatened to kill himself if she did not stand by his side. It also turned out we missed a bullet because he had Nazi tendency's , once that came out then it was all over for him. Putting that to one side. The story is one of the most tragic love storys. They did love each other and from the moment he died she was at a loss what to do and years later she died a very lonely woman surrounded by just memories.

Markle is diferant, I remember the day the news broke. I would not say everyone was happy, men are a bit diferant from women in the UK we take it or leave it and usually say yeah whatever and go back to what we were doing. Women though were pleased, my wife as an example said OH good he can at last settle down and be happy, and to be honest many of us Brits had never heard of her all we knew was that she was an actor who had a role in a something called Suits. Netflix must have seen a sharp rise in ratings for Suits as not many Brits knew about it.

I dont know what really happened but suddenly it all became about race and here's the thing, If people really had a problem with Meghan Markle's ethnicity her mother who is not biracial but black would be dragged into the situation but she isn't.

I have never seen a comment that focused on Meghan's outer appearance, her clothes choice yes, her skin colour, no.

I have however seen many comments aimed at her “ white “ side, her trashy “ white “ sister and her trashy “ white “ father, so maybe we should ask is racism and racial bigotry aimed at her sister and father for being non black nor biracial, and who is doing all that? none other than the ones shouting loudest that the royal family are racists along with the average white Brit.

What is life without a little controversy in it? Quite boring and sterile would be my answer.
