Megangate. Princess Show Pony

Here’s my take on all this,

From the moment she landed Harry the people of the UK took to her, there was no mention of her mixed-race either as no one was bothered in fact those that had not watched Suits did not even know who she was, just that she was an American actress.

She then had a fairy tale marriage ceremony that only people can dream of, again thousands of the British public turned up to watch her get married and watch the couple emerge from the Windsor Chappel and watch the procession through the grounds and Windsor. Most Brits felt a bit sorry for her because her father had not come over to give her away which all fathers would do for their daughters. We saw her soon to be husbands father Prince Charles step up to the plate and take his place. Millions of more Brits tuned in to the televised marriage ceremony.

Does that sound like we British hated her, does it sound and look like we were all racists? Does it sound and look like the Royal family had not taken to her and are racists?

Then after a few months rumours started to emerge that she was being difficult. The talk was that she had begun to throw her weight around and it emerged that she had started to do this before the marriage. People came forward who had worked for the Royal family for years and had been asked to be her aids to help her to adjust to the life she was now part of which is far different from anything she had ever experienced.

Nine aids left their employment.

It is said that she drove two personal assistants out of the household and undermined the confidence of a third. In 2017, shortly after the pair announced their engagement, a senior aide told the happy couple their treatment of staff had caused difficulties. the pair were told staff needed to be treated well, even if they were not performing to their standards. But Markel is said to have replied: “It’s not my job to coddle people.”

One has come forward and said they were humiliated by Meghan on a number of occasions.

And one more aide, fearing a confrontation with Meghan, apparently told a colleague: “I can’t stop shaking.”

One more aide said Meghan’s behaviour felt “more like emotional cruelty and manipulation, which I guess could also be called bullying”.

One former employee said: “I had unpleasant experiences with her. I would definitely say humiliated.”

It is also said that on one occasion in Australia she threw a hot cup of tea at another aid when she expected to get the whole of Admiralty House in Australia and was only given part of a wing of it.

From my point of view being a Brit and having seen what Prince Harry’s mother went through, are we actually being asked to believe that the Royal family would have done what she is saying they have done to her? A lot had to change and it did change. The Royal family of twenty-five years ago is not the Royal Family of today. Also as we are touching on his mother, she was no angel when push came to shove, she was very good at manipulating people, perhaps something that she had to learn.

What I find astonishing in the interview is the fact that why was nothing mentioned about her own family who has virtually disowned her. The war she is having with her father and sister. The father bought her up on his own. She is estranged from Thomas Markle since her wedding, and then there are the allegations that she said she paid for her own college education when it was her father who paid every cent of it.

I also find it strange that there was only one person from her own family that turned up at the wedding her mother who did not bring her up, who went missing when she should have been a mother. That fact alone is very interesting and very telling because it’s saying I have burnt my bridges, no one likes me in my own family so it will look good if mum who I have not seen for years comes to the wedding.

Then we have the curious tale of her guests. George Clooney arrived with his wife. Months later he let it drop that he did not know why he had been invited as he had never met either Harry or Megan. Then there is Oprah Wimphry herself who Megan refers to as her very good friend, yet they only met once just before the marriage when Wimphry was in London. Two questions arise with this guest, what was she doing in London? Wimphry does not look the type to turn up in a capital city and go around looking at the Tower of London or go to watch the changing of the guard, or go on pub crawls to the many famous pubs or visit Madame Tussauds and the Planetarium I could be mistaken, of course, however, my bet is she got in touch with the royal bride to be and said let’s meet up I have a proposition for you that can make you a small fortune. Megan being Megan, Miss Show Pony was going to spill the beans back then, then thought, OOOPS hang on gal I am not married yet.

What about the crying and the “falling out” with Kate Middleton. Meghan reduced Kate to tears so Kate says, well if she has been reducing her staff to tears then its quite obvious that in the run-up to the wedding she had a go at Kate and Kate got the sharp end of her tongue. However, here’s the thing that a bit of a puzzle Miss Show Pony has now turned it all around and it's now Kate made me cry and sent me a bunch of flowers with a note to say sorry. My first reaction was to think right away that Kate although upset by the way Miss Show Pony reacted decided to send her a nice bouquet of flowers with a note saying she was sorry that she felt so upset. It is something I would do and I reason, that all people would do in the UK if we saw a close to be relative stressed out.

What about the extra wedding she said they had? Everyone knows for a wedding to be legal in the UK there have to be two witnesses. Oprah should have pulled her up on this. Meghan clearly lives in a fantasy world where her views are the truth according to Meghan.

Meghan said there was concern and conversations with Harry about their baby’s skin colour when she was 5 months pregnant. Harry said the conversation about skin colour was at the beginning of their relationship. They are contradicting each other. When was this conversation? This is important as was it about an unborn child, or a hypothetical situation, or did it even happen at all?

Both made jaw-dropping claims of brazen racism and delved into difficult conversations of family rifts. Although much of the interview was an outpouring of emotion, many of the claims can be stood up — or knocked down — with facts.

Lets fact check a few claimes

Unlikely

Meghan’s claim that she never researched Harry, nor the Royal Family, before entering into the relationship is at odds with claims made in the couple’s biography.

Although the Sussexes maintain they did not contribute to Finding Freedom, it was written by friendly journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, who say the book was impeccably well-sourced by those closest to the couple.

Prior to their first date at Dean Street Townhouse in 2016, the authors write: ‘Naturally both participants in this blind date did their homework with a thorough Google search. Harry, who scoped out Meghan on social media, was interested.’

A friend is also claimed to have impressed on Meghan the attention she would command for dating Harry, saying: ‘This could be crazy…you will be the most wanted

Harry and Meghan were actually secretly wed three days before the Windsor ceremony by the Archbishop of Canterbury

Meghan said: ‘You know, three days before our wedding, we got married. No one knows that… We called the Archbishop and we just said, ‘Look, this thing, this spectacle is for the world but we want our union between us.’

Fact check: Unlikely

Church of England marriages require at least two witnesses and the public must also have unrestricted access to the building during any marriage ceremony to allow for valid objections against the marriage.

At the time the couple were living in the grounds of Kensington Palace, and their residence is off-limits to the public.

A couple who are already lawfully married cannot choose to re-marry each other unless there is some doubt as to the validity of the earlier marriage.

Reverend David Green, Vicar of St Mary’s, West Malling and the Rector of St Michael’s, Offham, said it was impossible to have had two weddings, adding: ‘I think the Archbishop needs to clarify what did or did not happen three days before.’

This means that one of the two ceremonies was more likely just an exchange of vows rather than a legally recognised wedding.

Archie has a birthright to be a prince

Meghan said: Idea of the first member of colour in this family, not being titled in the same way that other grandchildren would be… It’s not their right to take it away’

Fact check: False

Archie did not have a birthright to be a prince, but could potentially become one when Charles accedes to the throne.

That William and Kate’s children have the HRH title and are styled as prince and princesses — and Archie is not — stems from a ruling more than 100 years ago.

In 1917, King George V issued a written order that only royal offspring who are in the direct line of succession could be made a prince and receive HRH titles.

The Letters Patent read: ‘…the grandchildren of the sons of any such Sovereign in the direct male line (save only the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales) shall have and enjoy in all occasions the style and title enjoyed by the children of dukes of these our realms.’

Under the rules, only Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge’s eldest son Prince George — as a great-grandson of the monarch down the direct line of succession to the throne — was originally entitled to be a prince.

The Queen stepped in ahead of George’s birth in 2013 to issue a Letters Patent to ensure all George’s siblings — as the children of future monarch William — would have fitting titles, meaning they were extended to Charles and Louis.

Under the George V rules, Archie would be entitled to be an HRH or a prince when his grandfather Charles, the Prince of Wales, accedes to the throne.

Archie wouldn’t get 24/7 security because he wasn’t a prince

Meghan said: In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time, so we (had) the conversation of he won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title.

Fact check: False

Being a prince or princess does not automatically mean royals have police protection.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s security is no longer paid for by the taxpayer.

Harry and Meghan no longer receive British police protection and are understood to be paying for private security.

Harry was financially cut off from the royals

Harry said: ‘My family literally cut me off financially, and I had to afford security for us’

Fact check: They wanted to be financially independent

When Harry and Meghan announced their intention to step back from being senior royals, they said they wanted to be ‘financially independent’.

Before cutting ties, 95 per cent of their money came from Prince Charles’s income from the Duchy of Cornwall, and 5 per cent from the taxpayer-funded Sovereign Grant.

Princes William and Harry received most of a £13million fortune left by their mother Princess Diana. Harry is also thought to have had millions left to him by the Queen mother.

Meghan has not seen Samantha Markle in almost 20 years

Meghan said: ‘The last time I saw her must have been at least 18, 19 years.’

Fact check: False

During the interview, Meghan distanced herself from her half-sister Samantha, who she said she hardly knows and she grew up an only child’.

Meghan had to turn over her passport, keys and driving licence to royal aides

Meghan said: ‘When I joined that family, that was the last time I saw my passport, my driving licence, my keys — all of that gets turned over.’

Fact check: Difficult to verify

Senior royals are often pictured driving themselves and it is believed there have never been prior claims of a royal having keys and passports held.

Harry and Meghan received police protection, meaning their travel was meticulously planned by officers.

So what the hell has been going on? Both come over as petty and jealous individuals. Harry is the spare royal, actually, he is not even that anymore. William his brother gets the lot, Prince of Wales when his dad becomes King, with all the money and land that comes with it. Then when dad dies he becomes King and hands over the land and the fortune it brings in to his eldest son and takes over what his dad has left. Harry gets nothing.

That is what all this is about. and what’s been going on. Miss Show Pony thought she would have it all, would be lauded as a Kings Brother In-law get land, money servants at her beck and call and do very little. . Be the queen of America to laud it over her foolish Hollywood friends what few she has in that shallow industry.

Now we just wait for the fall out that is coming her way, because what I know of the British people seeing as I am one of those people is the fact that no one disses our Queen and gets away with it. Furthermore, there will be people out there finding her friends and work colleagues wanting them to dish the dirt on her. This story is far from over.
